Matured entirely in both fresh and refill sherry butts, this is a bottling with a very different focus to what you might normally expect from Campbeltown — and it delivers something truly special.

Springbank’s signature character — coastal salt, subtle peat, oily richness — runs throughout, but here it is framed by 17 years of deep sherry influence that adds layer upon layer of complexity.
On the nose, light and fragrant Springbank peat smoke leads, with the signature salt note sitting on a layer of noticeable cask spices and aromatic dark fruits — figs, dates, sweet dried apricots and plums, with freshly roasted coffee, cocoa powder and chewy toffee. All the elements are in harmony, with the oak influence weaving elegantly through the sweet and smoky notes. On the palate, a big oily arrival is packed with cask spice — pepper and dark fruits taking centre stage, with coffee grounds, liquorice and light chocolate adding richness and depth. The finish is medium to long with leathery notes and a light coastal salinity.
